There are several possibilities to present your topics and information as a lecturer at the Software Quality Days:
Practical lecture
Lecture normal (approx. 30-35 min. presentation and approx. 10-15 min. discussion)
Lecture extended (approx. 55-60 min. presentation - including some small exercises or informal elements due to the lenght - and approx. 25-30 min. discussion)
Lectures that are directly relevant to users and have a strong practical focus are expected as practical lectures. Presentations that relate to practice and are approximately equally divided with a co-lecturer who is a customer or user are preferred.
Presentations by tool manufacturers are only accepted when they are generally applicable and primarily address a method or practice that must be presented independent of the tool. Lectures that refer to your own tools may be held in the Solution Provider Forum in conjunction with a sponsoring.
Scientific lecture
Lecture normal (approx. 30-35 min. presentation and approx. 10-15 min. discussion)
Scientific lectures must present a corresponding level of innovation and research results, and they should relate to practical applications.
Scientific lectures will be evaluated particularly critically by the programme committee, and it is expected that the underlying scientific aspects be appropriately presented in the submitted lecture (for example by specific references to past studies or research projects that form the basis of the lecture).
Expert-Talk
Moderated discussion (45 min. for discussion)
Expert-Talks can be submitted on any topic of the conferece.
Expert-Talks that have a strong practical focus and that are conducted with a co-lecturer who is a customer or user are preferred.
Expert-Talks by tool manufacturers are only accepted when they are generally applicable and primarily address a method or practice that must be discussed independent of the tool.
Lectures that refer to your own tools may be held in the Solution Provider Forum in conjunction with a sponsoring.
An abstract of the discussion has to be submitted. The abstract has to contain the topic of the discussion, a discussion guideline with questions and problem statements, that are intended to be discussed and the target audience of the discussion.
Tutorial/workshop
Tutorials / workshops last half a day (normal case) or full day (will be accepted in particular cases).
The tutorial / workshops topics may be freely selected from among the themes of the conference.
Tool applications can be presented in a tutorial/workshop. However, pure tool workshops by tool manufacturers are not permitted. If tools are presented in a workshop, they must always refer to a method or topic that is explained in the workshop.
This must also be described in the submission.
Please take notice that we anticipate a number of attendees between 20 - 100 in the conference tracks and between 6 - 30 in the workshops/tutorials!
Please use the accepted file-formats!
See the submission-information-sheet for aditional informaions and conditions.
Our general terms and conditions (T&C) for the event apply to participation and collaboration.
