Test Automation meets AI – Effective Test Generation

In recent years, agile software development has led to fast release iterations.
While this rapid development has many advantages, it also leads to challenges, especially in software quality. Each implemented user story and requirement should be tested properly.
To avoid high manual testing effort, many projects aim for a high degree of test automation. However, test automation itself can be a bottleneck, since it has to be implemented by experts and requires high maintenance.
That is why IAV works on novel approaches to make the introduction of test automation more efficient. In this talk, we will showcase some of our techniques, based on machine learning and natural language processing. They support the efficient introduction of test generation in a wide variety of software projects.
