DevOps creating a winning team
Most of the DevOps transitions are started with the idea of creating “well rounded” teams with T-shaped team members who can run the full stack. From my experience, I will tell the audience this isn’t the right approach and the search isn’t effective. From football I will use some of Champions League winning examples to emphasize my topics: Strategy, Environment, Management, Team.
What does this have to do with football? If you look at some of the great teams in Europe and look at their ups and downs you will see the correlation between the above topics and their performance. At the end I will have shown that DevOps is not just about putting Developers, QA’s and Operations in the same room. It’s about embracing cultures and utilizing them to form the right teams to reach company goals.
Value for the audience:
Football is one of the leading markets when it comes to team perfomance. Every game is about achieving the best possible outcome.
Software developing companies can learn from results from the past to see what the winning factors are.
Everyone that's interested in improving their own, team or company performance can learn from this presentation to start improving today.
Most of the DevOps transitions are started with the idea of creating “well rounded” teams with T-shaped team members who can run the full stack. Which leads to insufficient knowledge about DevOps specialisms.
