Conformity assessment of primary systems in German medical telematics

Short description

Digitalization in healthcare is complex – especially when it comes to creating open systems in which numerous stakeholders must collaborate smoothly. Such a challenge arises when introducing the electronic personal health record (EPA 3).

With the EPA conformity assessment, a new process is now being introduced: the KOB test suite. This is based on a test framework developed by Gematik, which enables fast, transparent, and efficient test suites. The test suite is made publicly and freely available on GitHub, so all manufacturers can download it and run it locally, even early on, against mocked services. Integration into existing CI processes is possible
