The Software Quality Days is the best ranked international conference regarding the synergies between academic and industry. Find more information in the study "Academic and Industrial Software Testing Conferences: Survey and Synergies".
In the 3 practical tracks there will be presentations of applicationoriented expieriences and lectures - from users for users. The scientific track will be held in englisch. The lectures present a corresponding level of innovation and research results, and they relate to practical applications. The exhibitors present their latest tools by practical examples in the Solution Provider Forum.

What‘s The Next Big Thing in Software Engineering and Quality?
One of the biggest conventions on software quality in Europe invites to Vienna for the thirteenth time now. One track will be focused on the key subject exclusively.
All contributions in knowledge domains, which influence or deal with software quality or have their focus on better software quality, are also very welcomed, e.g.
The conference is in general branch independent. But we would also be glad to take branch specific lectures into our program, e.g. Insights and implementation of software quality topics in medicine and pharmaceuticals, automotive, industrial automation, finance, embedded systems and many more.
You can submit different kinds of papers
Standard (55 min.: 40-45 min. presentation and 10-15 min. discussion) Practical lectures are application-oriented contributions and experience reports – from users for users. Presentations with co-lecturers of customers or users are preferred. Lectures from tool-producers are accepted only when they are being presented tool-independently. The selection is executed by experts from the industry. Possible number of participants: 20 to 100
Standard (45 min.: 35-40 min. presentation and 5-10 min. discussion) A scientific submission must display the relevant level of innovation and/or be backed up by research results. It is also expected to be applicable and practical. The program committee assesses the value of scientific presentations with a set of critical criteria and expets the scientific aspect to be appropriately reflected in applications. Possible number of participants: 15 to 50
Please note: The entries will be rated by a scientific program committee.
Workshops and tutorials
Workshops and tutorials take place on a half-day basis. There are more detailed application-oriented contributions and field reports, primarily with workshop character and audience participation. Presentations of tool applications are possible, but only if they are neutral without sales character and not made by the tool manufacturer or a distributor. Possible number of participants: 6 to 30.

for a lecturer per presentation/workshop on both conference days. Further speakers can participate at early bird special prize. for the Software Quality Days 2022 for the 3 best lecturers of the conference 2021
the leaders of a workshop with at least 6 paying participants commonly receive a bonus of € 250,-with at least 12 participants even € 500,-
Travel cost subsidy
for one lecturer per presentation in the practical tracks and workshops (except exhibitors):
- Vienna and surrounding area (up to 50 km): 0,-
- Austria (excluded Vienna and surrounding area, Tyrol and Vorarlberg): EUR 100,-
- Germany, Switzerland, Tyrol, South Tyrol, Voralberg, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia: EUR 250,-
- Other regions in Europe: EUR 400,-
- Outside of Europe: EUR 800,-
All information including sales tax. Payment will be made after sending and verification of a corresponding invoice by the organizer. In order to receive the travel allowance, the country of origin / city must already be announced at the submission! After accepting a contribution, no travel allowance will be granted or changed.
