Dr.-Ing. Matthias Koch

Short biography
Dr. Matthias Koch is a software engineer at Fraunhofer IESE, where he heads the “Digital Innovation Design” department since 2022. He has been involved in the design of innovative software solutions since 2012, both with customers from industry and in research projects. This includes the areas of requirements engineering, user experience engineering and the conduction of creativity & innovation workshops. In the area of “Digital Ecosystems”, Matthias Koch works on the design of methods and tools to support the development of digital platforms.
Matthias Koch completed his Master's degree in Computer Science at TU Kaiserslautern in 2014. In 2022, he received his doctorate from TU Kaiserslautern with a thesis on requirements engineering for digital ecosystems.
