DI(FH) MSc. Mario Winterer

Short biography
Mario Winterer is a software engineer and senior research project manager leading the research group AISYS (AI-based engineering of sustainable systems). His work focuses on AI-supported software engineering and the engineering of AI-based systems, with an emphasis on sustainable and future-oriented software architectures.

His current research interests include large-language-model-based assistants, document analysis pipelines, agentic AI systems and workflows, and the integration of AI into industrial support and decision workflows. He has extensive practical experience in building distributed systems, microservices, and data-driven applications.
