Chris Van Bael

Kurzbiographie
Chris Van Bael doesn't like to use expensive titles, but just calls himself a tester.
A tester is somebody who tries to improve the quality in all kinds of ways. This can be through dynamic testing, but often static ways like reviews or process improvement are more efficient.
With this point of view, Chris has worked the last 20 years on different projects. Embedded systems, performance testing of government applications, but also end2end testing for complete airports

Typically Chris works from a technical position, like performance tester, test automator or security, but scrum master, agile coach, test assessor were also roles.
Chris has been board member and secretary of BNTQB in the past.

Better testing requires training, so since 10 years Chris has been making and giving test trainings, including the ISTQB portfolio.
Chris became a freelancer in 2017 with his own company tesuqa, which aims to promote test automation and security.
He was one of the first to offer the ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer. His training portfolio now includes the ISTQB trainings, performance testing, Selenium trainings and security testing.
