Dr. Docent Javier Gonzalez-Huerta

Short biography
Javier Gonzalez Huerta is an associate professor in Software Engineering at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, in Sweden, working on making companies more effective when managing their software assets aiming at helping them to avoid asset degradation and Technical Debt. Javier received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia (UPV) in 2014, after working in the industry for more than 10 years. His research focuses on Asset Management, Asset Degradation, and Technical Debt. Javier has been doing applied research together with industrial partners like Ericsson, Spotify, Fortnox, and Swedbank for the last five years.
