Simon Lasselsberger

Short biography
Simon helps software companies design scalable software systems. With his company Lasssim he supports developers as well as decision-makers with solving architectural challenges, mentoring, and coaching. He started his professional life in chip design, but he’s always loved software more. Not just because software is way more agile than hardware development, but because tackling bigger problems at higher levels of abstraction is more appealing to him. This also explains his love for Software Architecture and Microservices in particular.

He likes working with Startups especially. His most noticeable success was when he worked with Runtastic and was responsible for their system architecture. They got acquired by adidas in 2015 for €220 million. Since then, he helped numerous other Startups to move fast with software architecture.
